We headed up to the foothills today and hiked around Mount Falcon park for a few miles. It was a gorgeous day to end the month of May. Mount Falcon Park is in Morrison, just a few miles off of 285 & the Indian Hills exit. It’s a great hike for dogs, it’s gorgeous and it’s relatively easy depending on which trails you choose. We took Castle Trail past the old house ruins and then continued up until Walker’s Dream trail. Then we went back down Walkers Dream and Castle and took a left to head up Meadow Trail. We ended up taking Meadow trail all the way around back to the parking lot. It’s gorgeous up there. Various sites along the trails included amazing views of downtown, Red Rocks & Mount Evans.
