Africa Update

In case you missed my previous post… I am going to Africa on a medical mission trip!

Together with a group of medical professionals I will spend 10 days in Africa delivering medical care to Ugandans. I am 47% funded — almost to my goal of raising half of the funds for my trip through donation! God is good. We leave in less than a month now. Time is flying!

On Saturday we had a team meeting where we spent all day learning about the history and current state of Uganda. We also learned more about Musana Community Development Organization, the organization we will be working with, and about what we’ll actually be doing on the ground in Africa.

I am so excited to get to work alongside Ugandans to deliver health care. It’s estimated I will see up to 60 patients per day! From babies to children to adults.

Here is a video I wanted to share about Uganda and the organization we’ll be partnering with–

I’m so excited for this journey and to see what God is doing in Iganga.
