🇨🇦 That moment when you’re like— crap, this is really happening? Why is Alaska so far away? Is this real life? An hour and a half later, after immigrations and a full vehicle search, we made it across the border. Goodbye lower 48. We drove through the heart of Alberta— Calgary, Edmonton. We finally arrived at our hotel after 11pm at night and got to bed eventually after our minds settled from the long day. We slept in an extra couple hours today and after the 15 hour driving day yesterday we’ve decided to tack on another day to our schedule and take it easy today and tomorrow. We’re all — us + our trooper dogs— they’re so good — exhausted from battling snow and icy roads with the Uhaul. In any case, today we push on to the #alcan 🏔 #roadtrip #coloradotoalaska #drivingtoalaska
